Creator: Jennifer Branison

Who knew taking a simple Journalism class in high school would lead to pursuing a career full of endless possibilities? Jennifer Branison is a Writer, Producer and Content Creator. She is not one who waits for future opportunities. She creates them. Through her work with award-winning companies such as: BET Networks and CBS-affiliate WTOC-TV she has developed excellent skills needed to thrive in the ever-changing world of media. She has written and lent her voice to many commercials promoting African-American owned businesses and entrepreneurs to even writing stories promoting education within her community. With the creation of her new blog, Candid Commentary, Jennifer muses daily about her experiences with topics ranging from women’s health to pop culture.

Branison graduated from Brenau University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. During her time at Brenau, she created and hosted a popular weekly radio show entitled Reminiscent R&B Jams on WBCX. But she didn’t stop there. She ventured to Paris, France where she became the first American to attend the European Institute of Journalism and the European Communication School. She left her mark on the school’s curriculum for exchange students earning the Service Award for contributing to the growth of her school and the Department of Mass Communication. During her stay in Paris, she mastered the French language while taking intensive courses at the world-renowned Alliance Francaise. There is so much more in store for this aspiring media maven.
